Matt goes prepared
Last Autumn I climbed Mount Sinai, this isn’t a huge challenge. but it’s still over 2000 metres high (twice the height of Snowdon).
Despite this there were people in flip flops & jeans, you name it, they were wearing it!
In my Meindl walking boots it was a breeze, but I think the flip flop wearers were regretting their choices as they got near the summit.
Moral of this tale – always take the right kit & know what you are taking on!
