GO Outdoors Partner with Festival of Cycling

Camping, music, and cycling…lots of cycling!

As a Yorkshire based company, we couldn’t be more excited that the Tour De France is not only coming to the UK, but heading right for our doorstep. So with cycling being such a hot topic around the company, we jumped at the chance to partner up with the Yorkshire Festival of Cycling this July, and we think you should join us there.

The Yorkshire Festival of Cycling will be held at stunning Harewood House July 4th – 6th and marks the official ceremonial start of the Tour De France. You can’t get much more among the tour than this.

As well as this huge opportunity to see a big part of the Grand Depart, the festival will be a weekend full of family fun including: entertainment, music, exhibitors, and even outdoor events.

GO Outdoors will be in attendance at the event with a stand as part of the expo area, where we’ll be demonstrating some of the fantastic new inflatable tents, as well as offering out camping and outdoor advice. At the GO Outdoors stand, we’ll be launching the BRAND NEW Calibre bikes due in our stores very soon, after fantastic reviews on the first two Calibre mountain bikes, the brand has branched into the world of road bikes – and these new models will be on show at the festival.

If it’s a relaxing weekend you’re looking for, then after a day of roaming around the Outdoor and Cycling expo, you can listen to the music of Rebecca Ferguson, Tony Hadley and Soul II Soul or check out the on site cinema and cultural entertainment.

If it’s a challenge you’re looking for, then why not enter the family fun ride, or the ‘Beat the Brownlees’ time trial and trail run, where you pit your own times against that of Olympic triathlon brothers the Brownlees.

It’s certainly a weekend not to be missed for any cycling enthusiast, and via GO Outdoors you can purchase your tickets with 15% off the price of admission by heading here and using the following code: 15GOOUTDOORS2014.
