GO Outdoors become a DofE Recommended Retailer of Expedition Kit
GO Outdoors is proud to announce our partnership with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to become a Retailer of Recommended Expedition Kit as part of the JD Outdoor Group. From April 1st 2018, those taking part in DofE expeditions at any level will be able to receive fantastic discounts on DofE recommended expedition kit in all GO Outdoors stores and via GOoutdoors.co.uk.

Golden Pebble Worth £500 Still Missing
PEBBLES worth £1,050 are still hiding in Ferry Meadows Country Park after the GO for Gold Treasure Hunt weekend finished with 11 stones still to be found.
We’re rather excited here at GO, as in December we will be opening our 50th store. The store opens in Peterborough, and to celebrate we’ll be hosting a treasure hunt at Ferry Meadows Country Park on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November.

Over the last month or so we’ve asked you to submit your photos capturing the spirit of the Great British outdoors. The reception was overwhelming, we received around 450 entries ranging from beautiful landscapes, to a snapshot into your family holidays, from the dramatic to the serene. Read more

During November you may notice a rise in popularity of the moustache, as men around the world grow to raise money and awareness for male cancer charities through ‘Movember’.
GO Outdoors customers have raised £10,000 for Mountain Rescue after purchasing 2,000 mini mammoth cuddly toys.
The toys were donated by outdoor gear manufacturer Mammut and have been exclusively available from 44 GO Outdoors stores throughout the country since July 27th.
A member of staff at GO Outdoors Norwich has recently taken their love for Lego models and used it to create a miniature GO Outdoors store from the bricks. Here is the finished product:
