Mountain Bike Stunt Team Makes Plymouth GO Outdoors Debut
The M.A.D. Mountain Bike Stunt Team (www.m-a-d.co.uk) is making its Plymouth GO Outdoors (www.gooutdoors.co.uk) debut this weekend.
The team, who have performed everywhere from Mumbai to Bahrain and from Saudi Arabia to Tunisia, will be performing throughout the day on Saturday 16th June from 10 am to 4 pm at the GO Outdoors store on Laira Bridge Road in Plymouth.
Each of the shows will feature cyclists performing action-packed stunts on a purpose-built rig.
Last weekend the team performed to over 10,000 people at the Fort William Mountain Bike World Cup.
For the M.A.D team Giles Wolfe team director said,
“It will be great to be back in Plymouth. We perform over 400 displays every year. But Plymouth sticks in my mind. we love coming to this part of the UK as the crowds are always receptive its always a great atmosphere. And that was one of the reasons we jumped at the chance to visit the new GO Outdoors store in Plymouth on Saturday”
The M.A.D. Team show is one of the first displays at the new GO Outdoors store since it opened last December. The team has been in conjunction with outdoor clothing brand Dare2b since 2009.
The 46,000 square feet store opened in December 20th generating 40 new jobs.
For GO Outdoors store manager Matt Robinson said,
“It’s quite a coup for GO Outdoors in Plymouth to get the M.A.D team back. We’re expecting a decent crowd and an even better atmosphere. We have a great space for the show here in front of the store. It should be quite an occasion.”
