New lines from Hi Gear look set to be popular in the colder months
A change in season is always exciting for us, with plenty of new gear coming into our stores and onto the GO Outdoors website. Clothing is a main focus for the autumn/winter months as aim to help customers get ready to not let the bad weather keep them indoors, no matter their budget.
In this blog we’re going to focus on some fantastic new lines from Hi Gear, which we think you’ll love.
After a damp summer, we’re heading into colder months, and colder months mean a need for insulation. The Hi Gear ranges of equipment and clothing aim to make the outdoors accessible on a budget and this years range is no different.
There are two key pieces to keep an eye out for in your local store this autumn: The Hi Gear Packlite Down Jacket, and the Hi Gear Packlite Down Gilet.
Hi Gear Packlite Down Jacket
The Packlite has been turning a few heads among staff, at only £65 with your Discount card you get plenty for your money.
Not only is the jacket lightweight, it has a fill power of 700 (90% duck down, 10% feather) so it acts as a fantastic insulator on those cold dry days, or underneath a waterproof in wet weather. The Packlite can handle a light shower with it’s DWR treated outer fabric too, so the ever changing British weather need not be too much of a worry.
Establishing itself as a great priced insulating layer, this jacket can also fold down into its own integrated stuff sack – making it ideal to keep in the car or your rucksack when needed.

Gilet’s become incredibly popular through the autumn months as a great piece to keep a slight chill off when it’s not quite cold enough for your jacket.
