Ross tells how even a car crash won’t stop him grabbing a climbing bargain!
Until about a year and a half ago I had only been rock climbing once or twice with cadets, then wolf mountain activity centre moved close to where I live.
Me and my friends immediately began spending more and more time there, which can become quite pricey due to the kit hire. So when Christmas came around a harness, chalk bag and belay set all in one from GO Outdoors was at the top of my list. No sooner had it arrived than I was up the walls again… fantastic.
Then I heard about the New Years sale where for one day it was 50% of Rock climbing gear, I took my friend along to get him a harness kit and I ended up picking out some rock climbing shoes.
The day was tinged with sadness as on the way there I was involved in a car accident, but we still managed to get to the sale and now enjoy using our equipment at the centre when were back from uni!!
