GO Outdoors become a DofE Recommended Retailer of Expedition Kit 
GO Outdoors is proud to announce our partnership with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to become a Retailer of Recommended Expedition Kit as part of the JD Outdoor Group. From April 1st 2018, those taking part in DofE expeditions at any level will be able to receive fantastic discounts on DofE recommended expedition kit in all GO Outdoors stores and via GOoutdoors.co.uk.

Partnering with a charity such as DofE which offers the most incredible opportunity to take part in a wonderfully diverse range of exciting activities while actively encouraging young adults to experience adventure and the outdoors as well as supporting others, is an honour that we are immensely proud of.
This partnership entitles DofE participants and DofE Leaders as well as other adult volunteers, to a respective minimum 10 and 15 percent discount on kit, equipment and clothing across all GO Outdoors stores as well as GOoutdoors.co.uk.
As well as stocking kit ideal for school expeditions, GOoutdoors.co.uk will also be stocking a wider range of Recommended DofE kit with a dedicated section of the website to find everything you need.
What is the discount available?
DofE Participants – Anybody taking part in DofE Bronze, Silver or Gold award is entitled to a free Discount Card and an Extra 10% off the Discount Card price shopping with GO.
DofE Leaders & Volunteers – All adult volunteers involved with DofE including Leaders, Assessors, Managers, Co-ordinators and more are entitled to an Extra 15% off Discount Card prices with their DofE Card.
This discount can be redeemed on all our departments and not just your DofE Recommended Kit.
