Happy St Davids Day

With March comes St David’s Day and we celebrate Wales

Wales have a lot to smile about this week, coming off a weekend where they wrapped up the triple crown in the six nations rugby, March 1st brings not only great weather, but St David’s Day. So we took to Twitter and Facebook to ask our customers their favourite outdoor spots in Wales.

Llyn Gwynant in Snowdonia National Park

Wales is a country with so much natural beauty, and a big favourite for walkers, campers and climbers alike. As well as the Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia National Park, the popular Shell Island campsite and more, Wales is also home to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which was voted one of the top ten walks in the world in 2011.

We asked our Facebook fans their favourite Wales outdoor spots, which includes:

Lady Falls
Brecon Beacons
The beach in Harlech
River Wye
Betws y Coed
Tnllwayn Campsite
Bridge end
Barmouth
Wye Valley
Gower Peninsula
Pen y fan
Aberdanon
Nantlle Ridge
Pembury
Benar Beach

The answers are still coming in as I write this, pop over to our new look Facebook page to check out what people are saying.

On the subject of Wales, don’t forget our second Welsh store in Swansea opens March 10th.

Happy St Davids Day!
