Fresh air, sheep filled fields and views to die for; on the edge of Snowdonia is the Living Room Treehouses, a small collection of wooden houses built up in the trees, offering a unique experience for all.

Situated on a Welsh sheep farm, these eco-friendly tree houses have everything you’ll need for a cosy and comfortable night away. They have their own bush shower and compost loo, with water heated via a wood-burner that can also be used to cook on. There’s no electricity at the treehouses, light is generated through solar power so lanterns, tea lights and lamps create a peaceful and romantic feel. Each treehouse features a double bed and fold-down bunk beds, comfortably sleeping two adults and two children.

This remote and magical location is perfect for a peaceful holiday to enjoy with family, friends or your other half. And if you fancy exploring the local area, as well as the mountains of Snowdonia National Park, there are beaches within a 20-minute drive; north and south of Machynlleth.
