Nothing fishy about what Andy caught one day..
After purchasing a new fly fishing rod from GO OUTDOORS, I decided to test it out at the river dove in Uttoxeter. I parked my car in my usual place which left me with a walk of about one mile through the local farmers fields.
After I had walked about half a mile I noticed a herd of cows heading towards me. I quickly headed in the opposite direction, turning my head only to find they were now charging at me. I began to run towards a fence when I disappeared down a drain hidden in the grass.
My fishing rod spanned the top of the drain and it caught under my armpit ,stopping me from falling further. CATCH OF THE DAY!!!!
The cows soon dispersed and I had a good days fly fishing which resulted in two lovely brown trout…… RESULT!!!!!
