GO for Gold at Ferry Meadows Country Park

We’re rather excited here at GO, as in December we will be opening our 50th store. The store opens in Peterborough, and to celebrate we’ll be hosting a treasure hunt at Ferry Meadows Country Park on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November.

The store, which is located on Saville Road, is getting ready to open on Saturday 6th December, and ahead of this we are inviting people to GO for Gold and take part in our treasure hunt – with the chance of winning 50 prizes, giving away almost £3500 in GO Outdoors gift vouchers.

50 pebbles will be hidden around Ferry Meadows Country Park between 10-3pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Prizes On Offer:

Saturday:
24 Blue/Green Pebbles worth £50 in GO Outdoor vouchers.
1 Golden pebble worth £500 in GO Outdoors vouchers to a school / activity group of the finders choice.

Sunday:
24 Blue/Green Pebbles worth £50 in GO Outdoor vouchers.
1 Golden pebble worth £500 in GO Outdoors vouchers to a school / activity group of the finders choice.

There will be four marked trails around Ferry Meadows containing clues. Local people and families are encouraged to take part and support their local cause; scout groups, schools or cycling clubs amongst many more.

Competition rules

  • Competition to be held at Ferry Meadows Country Park between 10am and 3pm, November 29th and 30th
  • 25 pebbles will be hidden on each day, 24 blue and 1 gold
  • The competition is a family event, but prizes can only be awarded to people over the age of 18
  • Each blue GO Outdoors pebble is worth £50 in GO Outdoors gift vouchers to theperson/team that finds it
  • Each golden pebble will be worth £500 in GO Outdoors gift vouchers for a local school, charity or activity group only. Proof of group required on collection ofprize. (Must be within the PE postcode area)
  • To claim a prize the finder of a pebble must take it to the Treasure Hunt Hub next to the Visitor Centre at the park. There they will receive winner documentation that enables them to collect their gift vouchers from the new GO Outdoors store in Peterborough only when it opens on Saturday 6th December 2014.
  • One prize per person aged 18 or over.
