Tour De France winner appearing in store 
It’s an exciting few weeks here in Yorkshire, with the Tour De France coming to the county, everybody has cycling on the mind. To coincide with our appearance at the Dare 2b Yorkshire festival of cycling, our friends at Dare 2b have organised for our York store to have a very special visitor on 3rd July.
On July 3rd GO Outdoors York will be welcoming former Tour De France winner and the Dare 2b team’s own Oscar Pereiro to the store. Keen cyclists among you will remember Oscar from his 2006 Tour De France win.
Spanish road cyclist Oscar will be signing autographs from 12pm-3pm in store, as well as setting a time on the rollapaluza static bike, which you can then try to beat in order to win prizes.
It’s a great opportunity for anybody caught up in the Tour De France hysteria, and an ideal starting point for us before we head to the Yorkshire Festival of Cycling for the official ceremonial start of the Tour, which is set to be started by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with Prince Harry.
