Our furthest store North opens it’s doors this weekend 
It’s felt like a long time coming, and an even longer time since we opened a new store in Scotland but our Inverness store is finally ready to open it’s doors this weekend (9th October).
In the first of a few October openings for GO Outdoors, we head north on the mainland to the picturesque town of Inverness.
Inverness is often considered the capital of the Highlands, falling at the mouth of the river Ness which is just down stream from famous Loch Ness, with plenty of scenery just waiting to be explored the Highlands have always held their own air of mystique.
With the weather a little questionable right now, hopefully a new GO Outdoors store will come in handy for the people of Inverness with our usual great range of Autumn and Winter gear ready on the hangers and waiting from brands like Berghaus, The North Face, Mountain Equipment, Regatta and much more.
Pop on down to the new store and say hello to the team, while browsing our range you may also like to have a word with the Dundonald Mountain Rescue team who will be around the store on opening day, don’t forget to spare them a few extra pence if you can.
If the weather is nice, bring the kids as there will be a bouncy castle there on Saturday and they may even get to meet Iggle Piggle from In The Night the Garden.
With the weather we are having at the moment, maybe it’s time you looked out that new winter jacket to help keep the rain off.
