Our favourite photos from #ScrapbookOutdoors Week 25
After a brief hiatus, #ScrapbookOutdoors, our weekly photo challenge returned with a bang as we set out the theme of ‘horizons’. We wanted to see what you were seeing on your adventures, for as far as the eye (or camera lens) could see. Here are some of the stunning views that you all came back with:
Instagram: @tibbetts_titbits - Somber evening tones in Perthshire. #perthshire #evening #Scotland #instascotland #scottishwonders
Instagram: @tomandliddyinthepeaks - Great news of the stunning #LakeDistrict becoming recognised as a #UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Instagram: @aneesa.sidat - Hoghton Tower is a fortified manor house in Lancashire, England, and stands on a hilltop site on the highest point in the area. It takes its name from the de Hoghton family, its historical owners since at least the 12th century. The present house dates from about 1560–65. It was damaged during the Civil War and subsequently became derelict, but was rebuilt and extended between 1862 and 1901. The house is listed at Grade I, as is the Great Barn in its grounds, which is dated 1692. King James I stayed at the house for 3 days in 1617.
Instagram: @lu_dunners - The hills of the Peak District were glowing last night! #peakdistrict #visitpeakdistrict
Instagram: @rosswishart - The view from the top of Coopers Hill, very tranquil, until I threw myself down the hill chasing a wheel of cheese!
Facebook: Pamela Drewett - My 8yr old daughter finding her 'pride rock' whilst climbing her 1st Munro, Schiehallion. Perthshire spreads across the horizon
Twitter: @pottyadventures - We had some stunning horizons in the #Carneddau on Sunday @GOoutdoors . #scrapbookoutdoors #hiking #scrambling
