#ScrapbookOutdoors Week 34: History & Heritage

Our favourite photos from #Scrapbookoutdoors this week

Our History & Heritage week is in the history books, and we enjoyed all your photos from around the UK. The history of the UK is one of the most exciting things to discover when out and about, and here are some of our favourite photos that you sent in:

Instagram: @sandselbizet2 - Newly to St Ives by lugger: Sep '17 Not your normal view of Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre! - from Barnabas, a historic fishing boat owned and sailed by the Cornish Maritime Trust. Built in 1881 in St Ives, that makes her 136 years old: not that that stops her sailing around the Cornish Coast and sometimes further afield in the summer months!

Instagram: @knopper13 - St. Paul's Cathedral on an overcast day in London. Taken during the last stages of our memory walk.

Instagram: @thenaturerunner - Rochester castle at night. #castle #photo #photography #history

Instagram: @dani.25.10 - Cromwells castle- Tresco in the Isle of Scilly. Lovely day island hoping, walks, cream teas and finding the islands castles.

Instagram: @garymaddockgreene - First time walking Bolton Abbey estate. Very much worth the visit.

Instagram: @jess_beck81- One of the oldest stone circles in Britain, Castlerigg dates from 3200 BC. From within its stones you can see some of the highest peaks in Cumbria: Helvellyn, Skiddaw, Grasmoor and Blencathra.
