These boots were made for Walking
I am outdoor mad and have been brought up loving the country life which grew into an addiction for walking. I love being able to take in the surrounding sights that you otherwise take for granted. At the age of 15 I took part in Ten Tors which I fell in love with.
Distance walking became a real passion and recently I really wanted to challenge myself for charity and walked from Bude to Lands End in Cornwall (approx 130 miles). I carried all my own kit and after months of planning I lived the dream of walking the Cornish Coastal Path and one day I would love to complete the whole south west coastal route. The trip was hard going and some of the most difficult walking but it was also some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever experienced.
From time to time I walk to Exeter to meet my husband from work which is a good 10 miles, with my dog for company its really refreshing and uplifting. I don’t drive and just love the excuse to walk.
